Acknowledged as the world's leading
manufacturer of
ultrasonic anemometers with the widest range of quality
products. Gill anemometers are used globally by some of the largest
organizations in the world for research, aviation, agricultural,
sport, transport and industrial applications to name just a few.
Specifically for marine applications, the WindObserver II
ultrasonic anemometer is available with Lloyds type approval. Gill's
commitment to innovation means the constant introduction of new
products and always staying at least one step ahead of their
competitors.
Gill's accepted dominance in the
field of ultrasonic gas flow measurement dates back to the inception
of the company. They are the largest single manufacturer of
ultrasonic anemometers in the world. That position has been achieved
by supplying the very best quality products and providing high
quality sales back up and advice.

WindObserver (High Speed)

The
High Speed WindObserver offers first class
performance and is capable of measuring wind speeds and
direction to wind speeds of 75 m/s (168 mph). An ideal
solution for tornados, tropical storms, land based and
offshore applications. The small opposing transducers
provide maximum possible directional ultrasonic signals
(used to provide wind data) whilst ensuring the minimum of
wind distortion.

WindMaster Series

The
NEW
WindMaster range is ideally suited to the measurement
of air turbulence around bridges, buildings, wind turbine
sites, building ventilation control systems, meteorological
and flux measurement sites. Digital outputs are available
on both instruments for U, V, and W vectors; additionally
outputs for speed and sonic temperature are also available.
The WindMaster is constructed from
aluminium and carbon fiber and is available with either a
maximum 20 Hz or optional 32 Hz data output rate. Optional
analog inputs and outputs are available with either 12 or 14
bit resolution. The WindMaster
Pro is constructed from stainless steel and has a
maximum operating wind speed of 65 m/s. With a fast maximum
data output rate of 32 Hz and improved vertical (W)
resolution and SOS accuracy and less distortion due to wind
loading, this instrument is suitable for applications
requiring three axis data. Optional analog inputs and
outputs plus a PRT are available with either 14 or 16-bit
resolution.

MetPak

The New
MetPak combines the essential measurements of weather
parameters into one instrument. Measuring wind speed and
direction using the proven WindSonic two-axis
technology, and temperature and humidity using industry
standard probes, this instrument provides a cost effective
alternative for compact weather stations. Easy to install
using a single pole mounting with SDI12 and analogue output
configurations available.

Need advice on selecting the appropriate Gill
Ultrasonic?
Selecting the right ultrasonic for your
application has never been easier.
Gill offers the most extensive range of ultrasonic
anemometers available in the market today and has more than 16 years
experience in the field of ultrasonic gas flow measurement. The
elimination of moving parts combined with rugged construction
removes the need for routine maintenance in the field. This makes
Gill sensors ideal for operation in even the worst environmental
conditions. To learn more about Gill Instruments products,
