Chlorophyll Fluorescence-Continuous Excitation |
|
|
Handy-PEA is a compact, highly portable continuous-excitation type chlorophyll fluorescence analyzer. The rugged yet lightweight design makes Handy-PEA particularly suitable for rapid, large scale screening of samples in the field or greenhouse in both research and teaching applications. |
The Pocket PEA Chlorophyll Fluorimeter is
suitable for teaching, research & a wide variety of
commercial applications. The robust yet compact hand-held
design provides ease of use & reliable operation. |
Chlorophyll Fluorescence-Pulse Modulated |
|
|
The FMS1 is a pulse modulated chlorophyll fluorimeter operating from a mains power supply for laboratory use. The system may also be operated from an external 12V D.C. power supply or high capacity battery for near-field conditions. For information on the use of the FMS1 with the CIRAS for simultaneous leaf gas exchange and chlorophyll fluorescence measurements, click here. |
The FMS2 is a field portable pulse modulated chlorophyll fluorimeter. The system is highly portable and fully self-contained.
A system of field interchangeable batteries provides power for a full day of field work. A multi-charger system allows full recharge of the batteries overnight. For information on the use of the FMS2 with the CIRAS for simultaneous leaf gas exchange and chlorophyll fluorescence measurements, click here. |
Liquid Phase Respiration Measurements |
||
|
Oxygraph
Oxygraph provides a computer controlled oxygen electrode system for the study of respiration by oxygen uptake in liquid suspensions of 200µl - 2.5ml. The system connects directly to the serial port of a Windows® 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 or XP desktop, laptop, notebook or sub-notebook PC and is configured and controlled via the PC using custom Windows® software supplied. Oxygen signals are displayed directly to the PC screen as traces and/or digital panel meters. Tools are provided for adding annotated event marks during recording and a range of measurement tools are supplied including oxygen rate determination. All original data and calculated values are easily exported via the clipboard for further analysis in other software applications. |
OxyTherm
Oxytherm provides the convenience of the Oxygraph system for the study of respiration by oxygen uptake in liquid suspensions of 200µl - 2.5ml. It additionally features precise solid-state temperature control (+3 to 40 degrees C) without need for a circulating water supply. The electrode unit has an integral small diameter oxygen electrode disc, sample illumination facility and fibre-optic port to suit 8mm diameter fibre-optics such as those from the FMS2 chlorophyll fluorimeters. Windows® software supplied for system/ temperature control and data analysis. |
Oxyview 1
Oxyview 1 provides a simple manual system
for the determination of oxygen uptake rates from liquid
suspensions during respiration studies. The modular
construction and good sample visibility make the system
ideal for teaching and in research applications when a
non-computer controlled environment is required that allows
analogue output signals to be recorded to strip-chart.

Liquid Phase Photosynthesis Systems |
||
|
Chloroview 1
Chloroview 1 provides a basic system for the determination of respiration and photosynthesis by oxygen evolution and uptake measurement from liquid sample suspensions under actinic illumination.
|
Chlorolab 2
Chlorolab 2 provides a sophisticated system for the advanced study of respiration and photosynthesis from liquid samples under automated illumination from red (660nm) LED light. The system provides the ability to automate the acquisition of oxygen evolution/uptake rate over a user-defined light intensity rate and to determine the apparent quantum yield. |
Chlorolab 3
Chlorolab 3 provides a sophisticated system for the advanced study of respiration and photosynthesis from larger volume liquid samples (to 20ml) under automated illumination from red (660nm) LED light. The system provides the ability to automate the acquisition of oxygen evolution/uptake rate over a user-defined light intensity rate and to determine the apparent quantum yield. Chlorolab 3 is particularly suitable for macroalgal studies in sea water including P/I curves by automated determination of oxygen evolution and uptake rates at a range of user-defined light intensities to determine apparent quantum yield. |
Gas Phase Photosynthesis |
|
|
Leafview 1
Leafview 1 provides a basic system for the study of respiration and photosynthesis from leaf-discs placed in the LD1/2 electrode unit. |
LeafLab 2
Leaflab 2 offers the capability for advanced studies of photosynthesis and respiration from leaf-discs. The system provides computerized control of the oxygen signal with automated control of a red (660nm) LED light source array. 32 bit Windows® software functions provide automated measurement of the rate of oxygen evolution/uptake at a range of user-defined light intensities in order to determine apparent quantum yield. |
Chlorophyll Content Meter |
|
| The CL-01 Chlorophyll content meter
provides a convenient, low cost method of measuring the
relative chlorophyll content of a leaf sample. The field-portable, hand-held device determines relative chlorophyll content using dual wavelength optical absorbance (620 and 940nm wavelength) measurements from leaf samples. Relative chlorophyll content is displayed in the range 0 - 2000 units. |
