Portability
For lab studies, portability is not that critical.  For field research, the CIRAS-2 is the system that most researchers turn to time and time again.  From the outset, our goal was to offer all of the controls and features required for high level research without sacrificing portability. CO2 & H2O Gas Analysis
For high level research, the gas analyzer must be capable of resolving minimal differences in CO2 and H2O gas concentrations, especially when dealing with low rates.  In addition, it must provide independent, continuous, simultaneous sampling and precise control of both the reference and analysis gas concentrations. The CIRAS-2 does just that.  It features a "True Differential Analyzer" incorporating 4 independent infrared gas analyzers in the main console, 2 for CO2 and 2 for H2O.  This feature alone separates us from many of our competitors.

Maintenance Free Analyzers
Our analyzers are virtually maintenance free with our innovative, built-in "Auto-Zero" and "Self-Calibration Check" facilities ensuring long term stability and accuracy.  The analyzers are thermostatted and completely insulated to ensure accurate measurements under changing ambient temperatures. This eliminates problems associated with software corrections.

Fully Integrated & Automated Environmental Control
The CIRAS-2 system offers precise, independent and automatic control of CO2, H2O, temperature and light making it an ideal choice for A/Ci curves and light/temperature responses.  We feature the widest temperature control range of any company (appox. 8°C below ambient up to 40°C).

Powerful User Interface & Software
We offer the most powerful user interface and most intuitive software available today.  Our large, color reflective display (optimized for field use) can display up to 15 measurement parameters and graphics simultaneously and in real time!  You can easily configure the presentation of measured data to suit your needs. Automated response curve generation can easily be set up in advance allowing for unattended operation.
